Sorry everyone we had someone SPAM the blog… here are the details we posted when we announced abstract decisions…
More details will be circulated in due course, but for now…
– Oral presentations will be 10 minutes long with 5 minutes for questions (15 minutes total)
– Poster presentations will be more informal and will take place over lunch

Thanks to everyone who has registered for ENRGHI 2012. We are really excited and the programme is coming together – more details and speaker instructions coming soon! In the meantime, remember to get your cheques in to secure your place!
There is a waiting list so if you have registered and can no longer attend please let us know by emailing us at enrghi2012@gmail.com.
Call for abstracts has now closed!
The call for abstracts closed on Friday 25th May at 17.00 GMT.
The organising committee is meeting to discuss abstracts and will inform you whether or not you have been successful this week.

Call for abstracts – deadline approaching!
ENRGHI 2012 provides an excellent opportunity for post grads and early career researchers to showcase their work, whilst receiving friendly and supportive feedback from peers who have a shared interest in the geographies of health. Please remember to get your abstract to us by Friday 25th May 2012 17.00 GMT.
We welcome abstracts from researchers in all disciplines who are involved in research in health or health care within a social, geographical or environmental context. Submissions may be based on work-in-progress or completed work.

Prizes!!
We are excited to be able to award prizes for the best presentations at ENRGHI 2012. Please check out more info here.
First prize (£100) is generously sponsored by a leading international journal – the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health (JECH).
Smaller (£75) prizes will be available for runners-up.
To be in with a chance of winning, don’t forget to submit your abstract by FRIDAY 25TH MAY.
Bursaries for free places
Thanks to a grant from the RGS/IBG Geography of Health Research Group, we are able to offer a limited number of bursaries to cover conference registration. Bursaries will be available to postgraduates and ECRs on low incomes who are presenting at ENRGHI 2012, with priority given to those unable to claim from other funding sources.
You can apply now for your bursary by completing our online form.
